Prostaglandin analogs may cause changes in iris color and eyelid skin, growth of eyelashes , stinging, blurred vision , eye redness, itching, and burning. Beta blockers' side effects include low blood pressure , reduced pulse rate , fatigue , shortness of breath, and in rare occasions, reduced libido and depression . Alpha agonists can cause burning or stinging, fatigue, headache , drowsiness , dry mouth and nose , and also they have a higher likelihood of allergic reaction. Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors may cause stinging, burning, and eye discomfort. 
ADVERSE EVENTS: In a randomized, multicenter clinical trial comparing cataract surgery with the CyPass ® Micro‑Stent to cataract surgery alone, the most common postoperative adverse events included: BCVA loss of 10 or more letters at 3 months after surgery (% for the CyPass ® Micro-Stent vs. % for cataract surgery only); anterior chamber cell and flare requiring steroid treatment 30 or more days after surgery (% vs. %); worsening of visual field mean deviation by or more decibels (% vs. %); IOP increase of 10 or more mmHg, 30 or more days after surgery (% vs. %); and corneal edema 30 or more days after surgery, or severe in nature (% vs. %).
